The exhibition “Line VI” curated by Ana Marinović was held in Belgrade in August 2025, bringing together a large number of artists from Serbia and the region. This international project explores the line as a fundamental yet infinitely layered element of visual expression through diverse artistic approaches. The exhibition features works created in a wide range of techniques – from drawing, painting, and printmaking to photography, collage, mosaic, sculpture, and digital media.

The concept of the exhibition is based on the idea that a line can be both a boundary and a path, a sign and a metaphor, while in the works of the participants it acquires various semantic and aesthetic dimensions. In this way, the project connects artists of different generations and artistic poetics, creating a dynamic dialogue between tradition and contemporary art practices.

The exhibition demonstrates how a seemingly simple visual element can open a space for unlimited interpretations, showing that the line, while basic, is also one of the most powerful forms of artistic expression.
