In October 2024, I participated in WLW ArtFest 3 in Belgrade, a festival dedicated to celebrating art, equality, and diversity through the lens of love and activism by women who love women. The festival serves as a platform for LBTIQ+ artists and activists from Serbia and the region to share their stories and perspectives through creative work.
This year’s focus was on digital artivism: exploring queer identities through digital media and creating space for important social dialogue. Over the course of three days, the program featured exhibitions, workshops, panel discussions, and performances addressing different aspects of the LBTIQ+ experience and the broader struggle for human rights.
It was an honor to take part in this vibrant and politically engaged festival, surrounded by a powerful community of artists and activists.
